The Day the World Changed

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Donna White Davis was at home in Brooklyn when she heard the news that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. She immediately grabbed her camera and headed to the scene.

When she arrived at Ground Zero, Davis was overwhelmed by the destruction. She saw people running and screaming, and she could smell the smoke and debris in the air.
